Four languages, one research
In Jacopo Dotti's work, sculpture, installation, photography, and graphics are not separate disciplines but four ways of investigating the same theme: how a work changes the place in which it is located and how the place changes the work.
The project for a monument to Vincenzo Scamozzi redefines the urban space of Grisignano di Zocco; Euterpe transforms the stairwell of the Pollini Conservatory into an acoustic sounding board; photography documents the Venetian villas as a visual archive of heritage; graphic art inverts the codes of advertising to generate new critical meanings.
Sculptures
