Jacopo Dotti's graphic art moves in the fields of Subvertising, Culture Jamming, Concept Street Art and Brandalisms—four artistic movements that use the visual language of advertising and invert it to generate critical and symbolic meanings.

Movements and research
Subvertising
Subvertising—from the contraction of subvert and advertising—is the practice of subverting advertising messages by using the same visual codes as advertising language to convey critical content. In Jacopo Dotti's research, subvertising becomes a tool for cultural deconstruction: posters, campaigns, and advertising images are rewritten to expose the ideological and commercial mechanisms underlying them.
Culture Jamming
Culture Jamming is the practice of interfering with the flow of mainstream communication—advertising, media, brands, institutional communications—to interrupt its message and restore the viewer's freedom to critically interpret it. This work follows in the tradition of artists like Adbusters, Banksy, and international guerrilla communication movements.
Conceptual Street Art
Concept Street Art combines the practice of street art with conceptual research: the work is born in public space but lives through the idea it conveys. It's not urban decoration; it's a critical device that engages with the architectural, social, and media context in which it's inserted.
Brandalism
Brandalism—a term combining brand and vandalism—is the European artistic movement that reimagines the logos and visual identities of major brands, transforming them into works of critical art. This movement has its roots in London, Berlin, and Paris, and Jacopo Dotti has been one of its leading Italian representatives thanks to his collaborations with the Jelmoni Studio Gallery.

International recognition
Jelmoni Studio Gallery (2016 and following)
In 2016, Jacopo Dotti was contacted by Jelmoni Studio Gallery to collaborate with several European galleries between London and Berlin, as one of the leading Italian representatives of the Subvertising, Culture Jamming, Concept Street Art, and Brandalismi movements. This recognition marked the transition of his graphic research from the local to the European dimension.
